Your Essen SPIEL & Kazyr Cheat Sheet Blog
Shroudwardens! The last few weeks have been busy. If you follow our blog, you’ve probably noticed the ungodly number of posts we’ve been publishing lately. Who has the time to read all that?!
But fear not! I’m here to save you some scrolling and bring you up to speed on all the important stuff. Whether you’re planning to pick up the Kazyr soon or are heading to Essen SPIEL this week, here’s everything you need to know:
First Things First: Essen SPIEL!
You’ll find us in Hall 1, Booth 1D112. Come say hi!
We’ll have all our latest releases available, including our Essen event-exclusive miniature: Clynt from the Eastern Forest (epic version). And if you’ve been curious about Shroudfall but haven’t had a chance to try it yet, we’ve got you covered: we’ll have three demo tables ready and waiting. In just 10 to 15 minutes, we’ll introduce you to the world beneath the Shroud, walk you through the core mechanics, and get you ready to take your first steps onto Astira’s battlefields. No prior knowledge required!
But that’s not all. We’ll also have a few unannounced miniatures on display in our cabinet. Consider them a little taste of what’s to come. After all, we wouldn’t want to spoil everything about Shroudfall’s sixth faction (set for release in 2027) just yet... ;)
The Kazyr Are Here!
Can’t wait to get your hands on the Kazyr? Here’s a quick rundown of what awaits you!
Start Your Collection: The Kazyr Skirmish Pack
The Skirmish Pack is the perfect starting point, featuring a booklet that introduces you to Kazyr lore (hint: if you can't wait to divein , it's also available as a .pdf) as well as a collection of miniatures to bring the faction to life:
More Heroes, More Fire(power)
Want to expand your forces right away? You’re in luck! The Kazyr launch comes with plenty of options:
And if you prefer your battlefield markers in glorious three dimensions rather than flat cardboard, we’ll also have blisters with Cinder marker models available.
Plan Your Defense of the Ashen Crown!
You don’t have to wait until your miniatures arrive to start plotting your next campaign. The Kazyr unit cards are already available, so you can start theorycrafting your army and planning your strategies right now. And if you simply can’t stand the suspense any longer... the Kazyr are now available to pre-order in our online store.
See You in Essen!
We can’t wait to see what you’ll do with the Kazyr. What kind of armies will you build? Which units will become your favourites? And, perhaps most importantly, how much fire is too much fire?
Let us know on our Discord, or better yet, come find us at Essen SPIEL, Hall 1, Booth 1D112. We’d love to meet you, show you Shroudfall, and talk all things Astira.
See you there!
