Last year, we arrived at Essen SPIEL with something we had been working towards for a long time: Shroudfall was there, people were playing games, and the crowds were growing. We had our factions, our Skirmish Packs, our terrain, our rulebooks… but as the weekend went on, we realized that something was missing.
