Shroudfall in 2026: New Factions, New Battles, New Horizons

2025 was a landmark year for Shroudfall.

What began as an ambitious vision steadily transformed into something tangible on gaming tables across Europe. Playtests hardened into refined rules, concept art became finely sculpted miniatures, and scattered warbands grew into fully realized factions.

Our proudest moment arrived in October at Essen SPIEL 2025, when we unveiled the Shroudfall Skirmish Packs to the world. Watching players assemble their first forces, flip through the rulebook, and immediately begin plotting their next battle was a moment we will always cherish. It wasn’t just a product release - it was the moment Shroudfall truly stepped into the wider world.

But if 2025 was about laying the foundation, 2026 is about forging the path ahead.

This year, Shroudfall grows in every direction. Every faction will receive new additions - some arriving sooner than you might expect. Deadly units, and more of the strange, twisted, and heroic figures that define the world beneath the Shroud are on the horizon. Whether you stand with the unwavering Silver Line, manipulate from the shadows with the Umbral Veil, spread the corruption of the Bloodthorne, or fight in harmony with the Spirit Tree, you will have new tools of war to wield and new strategies to master.

Most exciting of all, the Kazyr are coming to the tabletop! First revealed at Essen SPIEL last October, this entirely new faction will make their full debut in 2026. They bring a playstyle unlike anything currently in Shroudfall, and we are eager to see how they reshape the battlefield when they finally clash with the established powers of Astira.

On the convention front, we are going all in this year. You’ll be able to find us at:
